Events & Weddings Coordinator
Sheerness (rural location – driver essential)
£26,000 – £28,000 per annum

We’re recruiting on behalf of a unique and highly regarded events venue set within a stunning natural environment in Kent. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, close-knit team delivering bespoke weddings, private celebrations and corporate events in a truly special setting.
The Role
Working closely with senior leadership, you will support the full lifecycle of weddings and events — from initial enquiry and sales through to hands-on delivery on the day.
This is a varied, client-facing position combining sales, administration, planning and operational delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Management
- Respond to enquiries, prepare tailored proposals and conduct venue show rounds
- Act as a key point of contact for contracted clients and wedding couples
- Maintain accurate records and monitor conversions via event software
- Contribute to sales and marketing initiatives
- Build long-lasting relationships with clients and suppliers
Planning & Logistics
- Create detailed event plans, function sheets and kitchen briefs
- Coordinate suppliers and in-house teams to ensure seamless delivery
- Manage event budgets in line with senior management guidance
- Oversee timelines and payment schedules
- Conduct post-event evaluations and gather feedback
Event Delivery
- Take a hands-on role in event setup and breakdown (including furniture movement and supplier coordination)
- Oversee event execution, ensuring exceptional client experience
- Welcome guests and manage accommodation check-ins where required
- Maintain outstanding presentation standards across all events
About You
This role would suit someone confident, enthusiastic and highly organised, who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
Essential:
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Strong attention to detail and presentation
- Warm, professional communication style
- Ability to follow processes and manage multiple priorities
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (due to rural location)
Preferred:
- 1+ year experience in events
- Background in hospitality, customer service, sales, administration or retail management
- Experience within an accommodation-led venue environment (advantageous)

Working Pattern
Full-time hours based around events and weddings.
Weekend and evening availability is essential. (From May to September, weekends form the core working schedule.)
