A leading provider of specialist residential and nursing care is seeking an experienced Care Home Operations Manager to oversee and support multiple homes across Edinburgh, Fife and the surrounding areas.
In this role, you will provide inspirational leadership to care home teams, supporting General Managers and Deputy Managers to deliver high standards of person-centred care.
You will identify areas for improvement, implement action plans, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while fostering a culture of excellence across all homes in your region.
The role combines office-based responsibilities with regular travel across Edinburgh, Fife and the surrounding areas, allowing you to balance operational oversight with hands-on engagement in quality assurance, staff development, and community liaison.
You will also play a key role in managing budgets, financial planning, and driving operational efficiencies.
This is a permanent, full-time position.
Person specification:
- Precious experience as a CQC Registered Manager of either a residential or nursing home
- Full UK driving licence with the ability to travel regularly and stay away from home
- Full registration with NMC (if clinical)
- Significant experience in a senior/operational leadership role including turnaround management
- Experience in managing budgets, financial planning
