A fantastic opportunity is now available for an experiencedHealthcare Assistant (HCA) to join a leading national charity as a Team Lead HCA, where you can support the wellbeing of disabled people and their carers through an innovative, unconventional approach to respite care!
Holidays and short breaks are known to have great positive effects on mental and psychical health – boosting mood, lowering stress, and providing opportunities to rest and explore new things – but they are often inaccessible or greatly limited for people with disabilities.

As a Team Lead HCA, you will be heading up a small team of healthcare assistants to support delivery of exceptional care to every guest, co-ordinating care activities and getting involved in clinical tasks (such as administering medication) so that they can truly make the most of their holiday experience.
This is a permanent, full-time position (37.5h) for a Team Lead HCA with a mixed rota.
Person specification:
You must have experience caring for people who are vulnerable or who have disabilities.
You must be organised and able to work well within a team – leadership/management training will be provided.
