Help empower vulnerable people to regain their confidence and independence alongside this leading mental health charity!

This indispensable Welsh charity is looking for an understanding and determined Support Worker to join the team at their purpose-built supported living service, which supports and assists people with complex mental illness to regain their independent living skills, including building positive relationships and feelings of security, personal finance skills, and the self-management of their own mental and physical health, so that they can regain confidence and re-join the community.

The charity as a whole is dedicated to providing unified and comprehensive aid to vulnerable people with co-occurring mental health, addiction, and related conditions who have found themselves in difficult circumstances, such as with substance misuse, the criminal justice system, or loss of sufficient housing or employment.

A full-time position is 30h per week, however part-time hours are available.

Overtime opportunities may also be available (but are not guaranteed).

The shift pattern typically includes a mixture of morning, afternoon, and night shifts but flexibility or specific shifts are available for the right candidate. Unsocial hour supplements on top of the base rate are available for evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Sleep-in shifts are also available, for which you will be offered £60 per night.

Some travel will be required, meaning you will need access to your own transport for this role.
