We are working with a Berkshire based hospice who are looking for a skilled Staff Nurse/Senior Staff Nurse to provide expert palliative and end of life care. Located in a beautiful setting, this site is part of a large charity and has a close relationship within the local community, offering a large range of specialist services to support patients, their families, and friends.
As a Staff Nurse/Senior Staff Nurse you will play an active role within the team. You will provide tailored care designed to meet individuals medical, social, spiritual, and emotional needs.
There is good staff ratio; with 3x RN & 4x HCA per 12- 15 patients during the day.
You will support people through the most difficult times of their lives, whether it is a terminal illness, the loss of a loved one or a neurological condition.
As a compassionate Staff Nurse/Senior Staff Nurse you will provide expert care to help them live the best life they possibly can.
Day shifts are from 7am – 7pm (12hrs)
Night shifts are from 7pm to 7am (12hrs)
Person specification:
You will hold full NMC registration as an RN Adult with significant post-registration experience. Full training in Palliative care can be provided.
