Staff Nurse – RN Adult or RMN

A leading Berkshire charity is now looking for a Registered Nurse (Adult or Mental Health) to join the team in delivering kind, compassionate and fully holistic care to local people with terminal or life-limiting conditions.
The charity provides a full range of palliative care and support services both at their “Outstanding”-rated Maidenhead site and directly within patients’ own homes. With their specialist inpatient, community response, and new Virtual Ward services, the charity is able to provide safe, agile, and responsive care wherever it is needed.
As a Staff Nurse at the inpatient unit, you will join a broad-ranging MDT – including doctors, clinical specialists, occupational and physiotherapists, complementary therapy practitioners, and social support professionals – in supporting the physical, social, and psychological needs of patients and their loved ones.
Previous palliative care experience is not essential, as an excellent learning and development programme will help you to further develop your clinical skills. Newly-qualified Staff Nurses are very welcome to join as part of the Preceptorship Programme.
This is a permanent position for a Staff Nurse in an inpatient setting; full-time, part-time or bank hours are available.
Person specification:
You must be registered with the NMC as a Registered Nurse (RN Adult) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
Previous experience with palliative care or in a care home environment will be advantageous but not essential.
