Oversee oncology pharmacy services at a dedicated cancer unit, and give cancer patients the best chance at fighting.

One of the UK’s leading independent healthcare providers is now looking for an experienced Hospital Pharmacist with a proven clinical interest in cancer therapies to join their growing cancer unit at their Guildford site, where they aim to always elevate patient care above even the highest expectations.

The wider hospital specialises in routine and complex acute medical services and surgical procedures, and therefore the unit’s cancer services – provided by a multidisciplinary coalition of medical, nursing, allied health, and complementary therapy professionals – are able to offer a full range of oncological interventions, including cancer surgeries and hormone, chemo- or radiotherapies, to treat a wide range of cancers.

As a Specialist Clinical Oncology Pharmacist, you will become a key member of the on-site oncology, haematology, and aseptic pharmacy team, using your expertise to assess, treat, and counsel patients through each treatment cycle to reach the best outcome possible for each individual. A substantial welcome bonus is additionally available to welcome you to the team (subject to T&Cs).

This is a permanent, full-time Specialist Clinical Oncology Pharmacist role.

 

Person specification:

You must have current, valid registration with the GPhC as a Pharmacist.

You must have previous experience in a hospital pharmacy setting, with the associated PGCert in Clinical Pharmacy.

You must have previous experience in cancer services.
