A major provider of acute and specialist healthcare for Bromley and Kent has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join the MDT as a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist.

You will from an integral part of the multidisciplinary team, working alongside advanced practitioners in managing your own patient caseload, assisting and leading in the ward rounds alongside, and in the absence of consultants. You’ll be involved in the planning, delivery, and management of pharmacy services within your speciality.

Acting as an expert source of clinical knowledge you will effectively treat patients, advise your colleagues and fellow healthcare specialists.

This post is suitable for dedicated and enthusiastic pharmacists with clinical pharmacy experience.

You will be supported in gaining the non-medical prescribing qualification if you are not currently a prescriber.

This is a permanent, full-time position for a hospital-based Specialist Clinical Pharmacist, working Monday – Friday. Flexible working and compressed hours will also be considered, dependent on the role and the service.

 

Person specification:

As a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist you will have:

  • Valid registration with the GPhC as a Pharmacist.
  • Previous experience within clinical pharmacy services.
  • A postgraduate diploma (PGDip) in Clinical Pharmacy.
