A luxury Glasgow care home has a fantastic new opportunity for an experienced NMC-registered Nurse (RN, RMN or RNLD) to join the overnight team as a Charge Nurse!
The home is a modern, purpose-built centre for exceptional older people’s nursing and respite care – accommodating conditions such as dementia and frailty – with colourful landscaped gardens, multiple communal areas, a wealth of indoor and outdoor activities, and dedicated spaces for relatives to visit and even stay overnight. Residents and visitors are encouraged to take part in a vibrant and welcoming community, in both comfort and style.
As a Charge Nurse and senior member of the overnight team, you will produce and implement effective person-centred care plans, make critical decisions, and act as a role model of best practice to more junior team members – maintaining a consistently safe, therapeutic, and restful environment for the residents in your care.
This is a permanent, full-time role (42h) for a Senior / Charge Nurse, working night shifts only.
Person specification:
You must be registered with the NMC as a Nurse – either as a Registered Nurse (RN Adult), a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), or Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD).
You must have previous experience in caring for patients with a diagnosis of dementia.
