This is a for a Senior Theatre Practitioner.

A fantastic opportunity is now available for a permanent, full-time role (37.5h) Senior Scrub Practitioner (ODP/ Theatre Nurse) to join the team within our Operating Department of a premier-level Independent hospital in Guildford. 

Rated “Good” in all areas, the hospital is a leader in both specialist elective services and patient satisfaction, meeting or exceeding expectations for 98% of visitors.  The operating department sees a broad array of elective procedures across its 3 Main Theatres on 2nd floor, including:

  • Upper and Lower Limb and Spinal Orthopaedic and robotic-assisted surgeries.
  • A variety of General surgeries to include gastroenterology, Opthalmology,  ENT, gynaecology, urology, vascular, pain management, and oncology procedures.

Person specification:

Essential:

  • Registered with the NMC (Registered Nurse, RN Adult) or the HCPC (Operating Department Practitioner, ODP).
  • A range of theatre scrub experience
  • ILS qualification or be willing to undergo training.

Desirable:

  • Mentorship qualification or willing to undergo training.
