A leading provider of specialist learning disability services is now looking for an experiencedOccupational Therapist to join the team!

They aim to offer the best possible person-centred care, education and vocational opportunities for young people and adults, often with autism, who have a learning disability and complex needs including behaviours which may challenge.

This role will be rewarding, with the opportunity to have a real impact on improving the lives of people within the Doncaster and surrounding services. As part of the OT role, you will be given the opportunity to support OT students and provide clinical supervision to other OTs and Therapy Assistants within the service.

This is a permanent, full-time role, Mon-Fri, 37.5h/week, no weekends or late finishes required.

You may be required to travel to local sites; therefore, you will need a driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Mileage is fully compensated.

 

Person specification:

  • You will have active registration with the HCPC as an Occupational Therapist.

  • Clinical experience of working with adults with learning disabilities, ASD, and associated challenging behaviours is beneficial but not essential.

  • Experience of working within a SEND setting would be beneficial but not essential.
