A specialist hospital in Birmingham has fantastic new opportunity for a Physiotherapist with experience in MSK and neurological conditions to join the team, supporting people with complex physical needs (including long-term neuropathic pain, myopathies, and serious musculoskeletal injuries) to improve mobility and reduce the incidence/severity of pain.
Purpose-built for physical and rehabilitation medicine, the hospital is a modern yet comfortable space for patients who require more intensive or specialist care, with the latest in therapeutic technologies and equipment on hand to support achievement of the best possible patient outcome.
As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will assess and implement targeted interventions for people seeking to re-develop their key physical skills – for example, following an MS or Parkinson’s diagnosis, joint replacement surgery, or to manage chronic pain and fatigue – as part of a diverse MDT, taking advantage of cutting-edge tools and technologies to help your patients reach their goals.
This is a permanent, full-time (37.5h) position for a Senior MSK / Neuro Physiotherapist, primarily Mon-Fri with need for occasional Saturday cover.
Person specification:
- (Essential) HCPC-recognised BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree or equivalent/higher
- (Essential) HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist
- (Essential) Proficiency in clinical MSK assessment and treatment techniques
- (Essential) Previous experience with complex neurological conditions
- Please note that sports therapy / sport rehabilitation professionals are not eligible for this role.
