A local care home for premium residential and nursing care has a great new opportunity for an experienced HCA to join the team in a Senior Healthcare Assistant role, now with a £500 bonus* for an extra-warm welcome!

Located just outside Ipswich, the home specialises in bespoke nursing and intermediate care for people with age-, disability-, and dementia-related needs; following a recent review by the CQC, the team is celebrating keeping their ratings of “Good” in each area. It is clear the home is also living up to its reputation for luxury, with residents able to enjoy fresh, chef-prepared menus (complete with seasonal specialties), carefully crafted design features and furnishings, and bright, spacious areas to socialise and relax both inside and outside.

As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will be trusted to support the more advanced elements of clinical care (such as medication and assessments) and to mentor more junior members of the team, helping to foster a comfortable and enjoyable environment for the residents. This is a permanent, full-time position (36h per week) with options for days or nights available.

 

Person specification:

Candidates will have:

  • Previous experience caring for older people

It is an advantage but not essential to have:

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
