A first-class care provider is now looking for an experienced Carer / HCA to join them as a Senior Healthcare Assistant either in Uckfield or Battle, supporting premium residential and respite care for older adults in the historic East Sussex countryside.

The group is highly praised for its high-quality, person-centred care for people who require some extra support to live well (whether for age-related, mental health, or physical health needs); purpose-building or lovingly refurbishing their centres to create contemporary homes that accommodate each resident’s own needs and preferences.

As a Senior Healthcare Assistant with your preferred home, you will use your fine-tuned skills to provide individualised care and companionship, helping with more advanced clinical areas (such as medication and assessments) and overseeing more junior members to foster a homey and supportive environment for the residents.

Yours would ideally be a permanent, full-time role (33h, days only), however part-time can also be considered. All shifts follow a 12-hour pattern.

Person specification:

Candidates will have:

  • Previous experience in elderly care

It is beneficial not essential to have:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
