A premium residential care home on the outskirts of York is now looking for an experienced Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join the team as a Senior Care Assistant.

This home was purpose-built to give residents with age, poor health, and dementia-related needs the best possible home-living experience. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be trusted to support the more advanced elements of clinical care (such as medication and care planning) and to mentor more junior members of the team, helping to foster a comfortable and enjoyable environment for the residents.

This is a permanent, full-time (36h) Senior Care Assistant role, with day shift and night shift patterns available. We also have space on the staff bank if you’re looking for more flexibility or to pick up extra hours.


Person specification:

  • (Essential) Previous experience as a Care Assistant in an elderly care setting
  • (Essential) Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
