Surrounded by lovingly-tended landscaped gardens, an exceptional Guernsey elderly care service is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN Adult) to join the team in providing respectful and well-rounded overnight care with a distinctly homely feel.
The family-run home prides itself on its top standards for the care of its residents, both in health and in wellbeing. Residents can enjoy cosy and well-equipped ensuite bedrooms (including a couple of fully-outfitted assisted bathrooms), chef-prepared seasonal menus, a sunlit conservatory, and beautiful gardens complete with water features, summerhouses, and patio seating. A wide range of social and recreational activities are offered both within the home and in the local community, with regular excursions to Guernsey’s many places of interest (loved ones also invited).
As part of the Channel Islands, Guernsey itself has a temperate oceanic climate and rugged maritime scenery, with a rich tapestry of history, arts, literature, and cliffside activities for you to enjoy at your leisure – especially with 6 weeks’ annual leave on offer.
This is a permanent, full-time (36h per week) position for a Night Nurse (RN Adult) within a care home. Night shifts run from 8pm – 8am.
Person specification:
You must be registered with the NMC as a Registered Nurse (Adult).
Previous experience in elderly care is preferred but not essential.
