The dedicated Outpatient Pharmacy at a leading local hospital has a fantastic new opportunity for a GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician (ideally Accuracy Checking qualified) to join the team in providing outstanding care for patients.

Outpatient Pharmacy, as its own unique blend of clinical and community pharmacy, is a flexible and dynamic speciality where you will see and care for people with a wide variety of healthcare needs; from recent attendees of A&E, to discharged patients continuing treatment at home, to people managing chronic or progressive conditions.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will join a forward-thinking team focused on delivering the highest standard of care and continuously developing to meet evolving healthcare needs. Supported by the latest tech, you will safely and effectively assemble prescriptions, dispense medication, and manage stock levels for consistently excellent, patient-centred pharmacy care.

Previous hospital experience and an Accuracy Checking qualification are preferred but not essential as the team are committed to offering you all the training, development, and professional progression needed for a rewarding and fulfilling career.

Person specification:

Candidates must have:

  • Valid registration with the GPhC as a Pharmacy Technician.

It is preferred but not essential that candidates have:

  • Previous experience within a hospital setting.
  • An Accuracy Checking qualification.
