The dedicated Outpatient Pharmacy at a leading local hospital has a fantastic new opportunity for an experiencedPharmacy Assistant to join the team in providing outstanding care for patients.
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will join a forward-thinking team focused on delivering the highest standard of care and evolving to meet changing healthcare needs. You will safely and effectively assist with dispensing medication, assembling prescribed items, managing stock, and supplying OTC medicines so that each user receives a consistently excellent patient experience.
Outpatient Pharmacy, as its own unique blend of clinical and community pharmacy, is a flexible and dynamic speciality where you will see and care for people with a wide variety of healthcare needs; from recent attendees of A&E, to discharged patients continuing treatment at home, to people managing chronic or progressive conditions.
This is a permanent position for a Pharmacy Assistant in the Outpatient Pharmacy, with full-time and part-time hours available.
Person specification:
Candidates must have:
- NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or be working towards).
It is preferred but not essential that candidates have:
- Previous experience within a hospital setting.
