A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for an experiencedCommunity Pharmacist to become the Pharmacist Manager for alargelocal independent pharmacy dedicated to going above and beyond for the health and wellbeing of a large and varied community.
Serving a large area, the team is committed to continuously improving services to fully meet evolving community healthcare needs, and so is looking for a Pharmacist Manager who can bring out their best, build strong relationships with other local health and social care services, expand the clinical services on offer, and above all provide genuine care and expert counsel to each visitor.
Your role will therefore include managing the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, guiding, supervising, and acting as a role model to the team (including Pharmacists and Technicians, qualified and in training) in delivering outstanding pharmaceutical care, and promoting the growth of the business to enhance the NHS and private pharmacy services provided.
This is a permanent, full-time role for a Pharmacist Manager; your hours will cover 4 days between Monday and Friday, plus 2 alternate Saturdays (each a half-day) per month.
Person specification:
- You must have valid registration with the GPhC as a Pharmacist.
- You must have at least 2 years’ post-registration experience within a community pharmacy offering NHS services.
- You must be NMS-accredited and willing to undertake further CPD to provide additional advanced services.
- You must have some familiarity with the NHS Pharmacy Quality Scheme (PQS).
- Travel clinic training is preferred but not essential.
