A brand-new opportunity is now available for a Pharmacist to join a local independent company, supporting the provision of high-quality and convenient community pharmacy services to patients across Abergavenny and the surrounding area.
The company has been a firm favourite within the local community for all pharmacy-related needs for 150 years. With the Golden Tote management system in place, you can comfortably dispense upwards of 14,000 – 20,000 items per month, and the pharmacist also has time to offer a broad range of both NHS and private healthcare services.
As a Pharmacist, you will regularly support patients who require enhanced pharmacy care, such as vaccinations, emergency medicines, common ailments (including the Sore Throat Test and Treat Service), lifestyle support and more, with incentive bonuses on offer for doing so.
Should Independent Prescribing be of interest to you, the pharmacy can also support you with funding for the course and its professional practice requirements, and then help with further opportunities for development and career progression that build on this experience.
This is a permanent Pharmacist position; ideally Full-time.
Part-time may also be considered for the right candidate.
Person specification:
- (Essential) GPhC-accredited MPharm degree or equivalent
- (Essential) GPhC registration
- Newly qualified Pharmacists will be considered and are welcome to apply
