A leading Coventry hospital for elective healthcare services – led by one of the UK’s Top 10 Employers in Health & Social Care in 2023 – has a fantastic new opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN Adult) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) to join the team as an Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner.
The hospital, rated “Good” in all categories by the CQC, has 3 laminar-flow theatres (one accommodating robotic-assisted replacement surgeries), a JAG-accredited endoscopy suite, and enhanced on-site services for diagnostic radiology, pharmacy care and physical rehabilitation. Patients can be assured of excellent and thorough care before, during, and after their procedures across a broad range of clinical specialties, from ophthalmic and ENT surgeries down to orthopaedic interventions for the ankles and feet.

This is a permanent, full-time (37.5h) role for an Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner. The Operating Department is open 7am-5pm, Mon-Sat, so flexibility can be offered with your shift pattern.
Person specification:
- (Essential) Registration either with the NMC (Registered Nurse, RN Adult) or the HCPC (Operating Department Practitioner, ODP).
- (Essential) Relevant ILS and mentorship qualifications.
- (Essential) At least 3 years’ orthopaedic scrub experience.
