A fantastic opportunity is now available for an Occupational Therapist to join a specialist hospital in Birmingham on a 12-month fixed-term contract, supporting people with complex neuro-physical needs (such as muscle weakness, reduced coordination, and sensory/cognitive impairments) to regain independence and improve quality of life.

Purpose-built for intensive physical rehabilitation, the hospital offers an ultra-modern, comfortable space with the latest in therapeutic technologies and equipment: the ideal setting for patients seeking a smoother recovery and longer-term preservation of functional capacity.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will collaborate with a diverse MDT to support people seeking to re-develop or maintain key skills and function as part of their rehabilitation programme (e.g. following a major surgery or injury, as management of MS or Parkinson’s disease, or to manage chronic pain and fatigue), taking advantage of cutting-edge resources to help patients reach their goals.

In return, the hospital is committed to offering you a broad range of CPD options (including accredited courses and a management development framework), the right work-life balance, an open working environment, and enhanced support for those big life changes.

This would be a 12-month FTC to cover maternity leave, full-time or part-time considered.
