A leading Welsh charity is now looking for an experienced Mental Health Support Worker to join on a part-time basis as a Team Leader for Service User Involvement and lead the team in offering support and widening involvement within mental health services across Cardiff and The Vale.

The charity as a whole provides comprehensive aid across Wales to vulnerable people with mental health, addiction & related conditions who are facing difficult circumstances, such as with substance misuse, the criminal justice system, or loss of sufficient housing/ employment.

  • Enabling individuals who use mental health/substance misuse services to share their experiences and contribute to service improvements, including people who may face more challenges to do so than others.
  • Developing pathways into involvement for people that may not have shared their views before, including making strong links with local services to aid in promoting opportunities and overcoming barriers that may prevent people from contributing.

This is a part-time position (30 hours/week) for a Mental Health Team Leader (Service User Involvement).

You must have previous experience of leading a diverse team and participating in strategic decisions.
