Housing Support Worker – Senior or Part-Time

A leading Welsh charity is now looking for a compassionate Housing Support Worker to join the team at their community supported living service in Cardiff.
The service provides focused support for people with complex mental health diagnoses to regain their independent living skills, build positive relationships, and feel secure within a home specially dedicated to this purpose.
As a Housing Support Worker, you will provide expert domiciliary care and wellbeing support while the residents work towards self-managing their own mental & physical health and pursuing new goals & aspirations. The following contracts are available:
- Part-Time Support Worker – 22.5 hours/week (additional hours also available)
- Senior Support Worker – full-time, 37.5 hours/week
The charity itself provides comprehensive aid to vulnerable people with mental health, addiction & related conditions who are facing difficult circumstances, such as with substance misuse, the criminal justice system, or loss of sufficient housing/ employment.
The service operates around the clock, 7 days per week. Enhanced pay rates will be offered for evenings, sleep-ins, weekends, and bank holidays.
Person specification:
Previous experience in providing care and/or mental health support is preferred but not essential for the Part-Time Housing Support Worker role.
You must have previous experience in providing care and/or mental health support for the Senior Housing Support Worker role.
