We have a great opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our luxury assisted living service just outside Oxford, helping to support residents and enhance their lives in a warm and welcoming setting.
Sharing grounds with a more traditional care home, our assisted living apartments have been specially converted from a classic Edwardian manor to offer older adults the freedom of a private, contemporary living space with additional support options for age-related needs (such as personal care, facilities services, fresh catered meals, and the chance to join any social activities and events going on next door).
As a Care Assistant with the team, you will assist with daily living and provide direct support and companionship, enabling residents to live well and keep active in a safe and caring environment. The site is quite rural and there is limited public transport in the area – you will need a driving licence and access to a personal vehicle to be able to reliably get to/from the site.
This is a permanent, full-time position (up to 48h available) with options for days or nights.
Person specification:
Candidates will have:
- Previous experience in caring for older people.
- Driving licence / personal transport (due to location).
It is an advantage but not essential to have:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care.
