As a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) at this “Good”-rated home in historic Bodmin, you will help care for residents in an enriching and fulfilling environment that respects residents’ individuality, privacy, and dignity.
Experience is not required – you simply need the right attitude and a caring nature.
Wellbeing is taken seriously here, with residents and their families encouraged to actively participate in organised leisure activities such as boat trips and visiting local pubs, art galleries, and the Eden Project.
With expansive grounds and pets allowed to visit too, residents can also enjoy a tropical aquarium, the service’s own dogs, and variety of traditional Cornish wildlife. No two days are the same!
This is a full-time (36h/week) Healthcare Assistant (HCA) position, with a choice between days-only or nights-only shifts.
An NVQ Level 2/3 qualification or previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is desirable but not essential. Access to your own vehicle would be beneficial as the setting is fairly rural.
