One of the UK’s leading organisations for specialist palliative care has a fantastic opportunity for an experiencedRegistered Nurse(RN Adult) to join their Peterborough inpatient team as a Clinical Team Leader.

The Peterborough MDT – comprised of a diverse range of specialised healthcare professionals – is able to provide cohesive, holistic care to local people with life-limiting conditions and their loved ones through an integrated network of inpatient, community, and virtual day services. By offering high-quality practical, emotional and bereavement support alongside pain and symptom management, the unit makes a real difference, where and when it is needed most.

As a Clinical Team Leader within the IPU, you will head up a team of Registered Nurses, HCAs, and volunteers in delivering outstanding palliative and end-of-life care for conditions such as cancers, heart failure, and chronic respiratory failure. Using your clinical, communication and team management expertise, you will ensure that individualised care provisions safely and effectively manage symptoms, support emotional wellbeing, maximise QoL, and ensure that each patient’s voice is listened to throughout.

This is a permanent, full-time position (37.5h) for a Clinical Team Leader (Senior RN Adult). You will be offered additional pay enhancements for all night, weekend, and bank holiday shifts, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.

Person specification:

You musthold valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (Adult).

You must have experience in specialist palliative care.

You must have experience in clinical management and leadership.
