An inclusive local care service is looking for an outstanding Charge Nurse - do you fit the bill?

Built on the founding principles of communication, support, and guidance, this Fife-based social care provider is now looking for an experienced, driven Nurse (RN or RMN) to join their home in Dunfermline as a Charge Nurse and aid the provision of outstanding nursing care.

Purpose-built to an innovative design concept, the home provides excellent accommodation and health support to older adults, with a focus on social living; families and friends may visit at any time, and residents and their loved ones are encouraged to take advantage of the extensive living and communal spaces, to participate in the daily social activities, and make excursions to the many activity centres throughout Fife and the Lothians using the excellent transport links. There is also an additional unit on site for younger adults who require the specialist care provided by the team.

As a Charge Nurse at the home, you will assist in the day-to-day organisation of care provision and resource use, enabling the entire team to support the residents in living as independently as possible, as effectively as possible.

Recognising that a prepared team is the key to success, you will be offered every opportunity to further your personal and career development, including internal and external training programmes – covering skills from Dementia training to Huntington’s awareness and beyond – to enhance your working practice.

Person specification:

You must have valid registration with the NMC as a Registered Adult Nurse (RN Adult) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).

You must have previous experience of working in a Senior Nurse role.
