Care Home Clinical Lead – RN Adult or RMN

Carlisle

£45,670 per year + enhancements

AA/CA/11254/1

One of the UK’s Top 20 Care Home Groups in 2022 is now looking for an experiencedNurse (RN Adult or RMN) to join their luxury home in Carlisle as the Clinical Lead, overseeing exceptional round-the-clock nursing and dementia care for residents and shorter-term visitors.

Rated “Good” in all areas, the home is a spacious and modern place for older adults to reside in comfort and style, with a strong sense of community and close proximity to the beautiful Scottish Borders and Lake District to enjoy. The MDT is well-prepared to care for age-related conditions and issues with mobility, and there is a dedicated unit on-site for those who require higher-level dementia support.

As the Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for the care provided to residents and respite visitors, with the autonomy to demonstrate your strengths in both clinical expertise and team management. Your role will involve ensuring complete regulatory compliance, overseeing clinical decision-making, and keeping team training in line with the latest clinical developments, all so that provided care continues to evolve and fulfil changing healthcare needs. You will also spend at least 1 day per week providing hands-on care, allowing you to keep your skills sharp and evaluate operations from on the ground.

As a warm welcome from the team, a £2,000 support package is available to aid in settling in.

This is a permanent, full-time position (40h/week) for a Care Home Clinical Lead.

  • You must have experience caring for older adults.
  • You must have a strong awareness of clinical policy frameworks and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.

  • Enhancements & overtime pay
  • Company pension scheme
  • Reimbursed NMC renewal fees
  • Substantial free learning & development opportunities
  • Extensive range of holiday, retail, and leisure discounts
  • Life insurance coverage
  • Health and wellbeing assistance programme
  • Monthly staff lottery offering cash prizes
  • Recognition and reward schemes
  • Unlimited access to Refer-a-Friend bonus scheme
