One of the UK’s Top 20 Care Home Groups in 2022 is now looking for a Care Assistant (HCA) to join their luxury home in Wallingford, a comfortable and spacious centre for exceptional older people’s residential, dementia and respite care.
Rated “Good” in all areas by the CQC, the home is set within easy reach of Wallingford’s historic attractions, the conveniences of the town centre, and visits further afield to Reading and Oxford. With a broad range of activities, events, and leisure spaces to enjoy both within and outside the home, residents (whether staying permanently or visiting for respite care) are encouraged to get involved in a thriving community and retain as much independence and choice as possible.
As a Care Assistant with the team, you will assist with daily living and provide direct support and companionship, playing a key role in ensuring all the residents can live well and keep active in a safe and caring place.
This is a permanent, full-time (36h) position for a Care Assistant (HCA) with a mixed shift pattern.
Person specification:
Candidates will have:
- An empathetic, can-do attitude.
- The willingness to help with personal care activities.
It is an advantage but not essential to have:
- Previous experience in caring for older people.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care.
