A local premier care home is now looking for a Care Assistant (HCA) with elderly care experience to join their staff bank, which will give you the option to pick up shifts as and when you want.
As a Bank Care Assistant, you’ll help ensure each resident gets the support they need even when there are absences in the team (such as due to illness or annual leave). Whether through assisting with daily living activities or through conversation and companionship, you’ll play a key role in ensuring each residents gets the highest quality and consistency of care possible.
This is a bank position for a Care Assistant (ad-hoc shifts).
Permanent HCA contracts, full-time or part-time, can also be considered if you’re looking for something more routine.
Person specification:
- (Essential) Some previous experience as a Care Assistant in an elderly care setting
- (Desirable) A Level 2 or 3 qualification (SCQF Level 6 or 7) in a health / social care subject
