The service has been providing specialist patient services since 1975 and provides a full range of treatments for heart conditions including diagnostic investigations and interventional cardiac procedures.
We are looking for a Specialist Clinical Physiologist (Echo) to perform cardiological investigations which are occasionally complex and non-routine. As a Specialist Clinical Physiologist (Echo) you will participate in non-invasive procedures undertaken at Spire St Anthony's Hospital including exercise stress tests, ambulatory monitoring, and all aspects of echocardiography.
The group offer a full induction for all staff to ensure that you feel supported and set up for success in your new role. You will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the regions most experienced consultants, covering a varied and diverse caseload.
Positions are full time (37.5 hours per week) which includes weekends currently (rota), although part time hours may also be considered for the right candidate.
Person Specification: To succeed as a Specialist Clinical Physiologist (Echo) you will require the following:
* Degree in Clinical Physiology (Cardiology) or equivalent.
* RCCP Registration
* Immediate Life Support Qualification
* Experience in all non-invasive Cardiology tests with specialist clinical expertise in the area of Echocardiography
* 2 years' experience at senior level in previous role
* BSE qualification
