Salary: £25000 - £30000
This is a Brand new unit with two state of the art PHILIPS MRI scanners (1.5T and 3T). This includes all types of MRI scans from basic scans like L spine, Knee, Head to complex scans such as Cardiac scans, Prostate dynamic, Breasts etc. There is a huge opportunity for staff to learn new scans and enhance their knowledge to excel in their career.
The ideal candidate will perform a wide variety of MRI examinations and this would be a great opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience to further develop their career. The successful candidate will have a flexible and patient-focused attitude and be able to work flexibly within the team.
We are looking for someone who can build an excellent rapport with patients and customers (both internal and external) and continue to provide high standards of care and service.
The ideal candidate should have extensive MRI experience with the ability and organisational skills to motivate and lead the team/day. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and IT literacy is essential. For this role you should be accustomed to performing different type of MRI scans (including contrast and non-contrast) on a routine basis.
Person Specification: These positions are open to any Radiographer with more than 1 years post qualification experience.
All applicants must hold a Diploma of the College of Radiographers or BSc in Radiography or other UK recognised qualification, have a current HCPC Registration and evidence of CPD.
Candidates ideally must have previous experience and who would be comfortable with a wide range of examinations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and IT literacy are essential. IV skill is ideal but not essential. For Senior Roles CT/MRI experience is essential.
