Description: This the opportunity of a lifetime for an experienced Oncology Nurse to work in a beautiful setting, located in a sub-tropical Island of the South Atlantic Ocean.

This rewarding and one-in-a-lifetime experience will see you treating patients with effective, holistic care. You will be responsible for chemotherapy administration and palliative care to patients, you will also be expected to help educate and train junior nurses within the hospital and the local community.

The post is within a 28-bed hospital, situated within an island of spectacular and beautiful landscapes. The community consists of roughly 4500 warm and friendly people, and with recent expansion of their International airport the island is set to develop even more.

As an Oncology Nurse you will be dealing with various people in different stages of illness; meaning that you will have to be empathetic, caring and skilled in your work. This is a fantastic locum position for a skilled nurse to experience working in an exciting environment.

It is a 2 month locum role, Full Time hours (37.5)

Person Specification: NMC registration with specific experience in Oncology.

Benefits: 3 days paid leave, full allowance for utilities, accommodation, catering, baggage and transport. Pension contribution of 7.5%.
