Our Client work closely and collaboratively with the NHS to provide seamless, embedded services which ensure greater equity of access for all patients and a speedier, more streamlined pathway from referral to treatment and outcomes.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic and highly motivated HCPC registered MRI Lead Radiographer to join and support the clinical team at their Guildford site. This role is full time (40 hours per week).

The MRI Lead Radiographer will manage the team to ensure a high quality service and compliance to all relevant legislation, including both AML and site policies and procedures in accordance with Information and Clinical Governance requirements. They will support and assist the Unit Manager to develop and delegate responsibilities. Provide and maintain high standards of patient care whilst following protocols. Previous experience as a Senior Radiographer in MRI and working with 3T Siemens scanners is preferable along with previous experience managing a team.

Person Specification: This position is open to candidates who have worked as a Senior Radiographer in MRI and stepped up in their position and have worked with 3T Siemens scanners. Flexibility is a must in this unit as you may be expected to work late some days

Candidates must have previous MRI experience and be comfortable with a wide range of examinations in a busy site. Candidates would need to be able to confidently scan all MSK, Neuro exams and be able to adapt their technique as required. Experience in Vascular, Liver, Pelvic and Breast scanning would be desirable with knowledge of multi-parametric techniques and IV cannulation certification.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, IT literacy and experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team is essential.
