Salary: c £37,267 per annum

This is an opportunity to work within a sought after urgent care environment in a community hospital. The unit is practitioner-led with no on-site medical support and is committed to delivering high quality care to the local population. You will be expected to deliver, without supervision, effective minor injury services to patients utilising an evidence-based approach.
Up to full time hours available - including night duty.
Person Specification: We are looking for Practitioners able to work in an advanced practice role which includes minor illness and paediatrics.
You need to have a passion for minor injury care, good communication skills, and a commitment to providing excellent care as part of the MIU team. You must be responsive to change and flexible in your approach. A sound knowledge of professional issues will be required
Essential are all of the following; Academically recognised degree level qualification in minor injuries which must incorporate minor illness plus paediatrics ( 1 st Level NMC/HCPC) . Ionizing Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations certificate. ENB 998 or equivalent Mentorship Module. Must be currently working in an urgent care environment as a minimum of Band 5 and to have held that post for at least the past 2 years.
