Salary: £24,214 - £37,267 per annum (37.5 hours per week)
Our client was founded in 2011 as a pioneering, independent community interest company who operate as a not-for-profit organisation, meaning they re-invests all revenue back into the services they provide, and the communities they serve. Employing over 3000 staff, their award-winning services are diverse, forward-thinking and multi-disciplinary, allowing them to provide expert help to their service users.
This is an exciting time to join the Community Mental Health team as a band 5 or 6 nurse (RMN) in Plymouth. They are a fast paced team who provide 24 hour support for acutely mentally ill individuals in the community. They work closely with NHS patients and provide intensive packages of care to individuals in the community.
We are looking for practitioners who are passionate about caring for people in their own environment. Our client is very proud of their Home Treatment service which offers a genuine alternative to an admission, where mental health treatment is commenced and managed by their skilled MDT practitioners in collaboration with the people they are supporting.
Our client is also looking to develop an 18+ service which will involve closer working with services for older adults; therefore, if you are a mental health nurse (RMN) and have experience of working with older adults this could be an exciting development for you.
Training of staff is of paramount importance to our client, who make investments in your development a priority. Development pathways to go up the internal ladder, leadership programmes, coaching, mentoring, and funding for courses/certificates are just some of the excellent CPD opportunities available. Therefore, newly qualified nurses are encouraged to apply for a preceptorship role.
