Person Specification:

Our client is looking for a dynamic and energetic Registered Nurse with leadership qualities for the important role of In Patient Unit Nurse Manager. It is essential that you are passionate about end of life and palliative care and relish ensuring that this is of the highest quality: leading and enabling the nursing team to achieve the same.

Reporting directly to the Head of Nursing & Clinical Care/Registered Manager this is a key nursing position. You must have demonstrable experience at Band 6 including experience of leading a team and managing a clinical environment. You will possess excellent communication skills both with patients and those important to them and also with your colleagues and your team. You must be able to prioritise effectively and delegate appropriately. Standard setting and monitoring will be a key part of this role and it is essential that you have the confidence to do so with the support of your line manager.
