Salary: £40,000-£45,000 (incl. allowances) dependent on experience
Description: We're looking for a responsible and helpful Ward Manager (RMN/RNLD) who will relish working alongside people with mental health needs and learning disabilities, seeing them become stronger and move towards recovery. We'll be honest, the job can be challenging at times, but it's also fun and rewarding. No two days are ever the same.
Ideally you will have experience within a secure service; you will have overall management responsibility for the delivery of service user centred care within the ward, leading a team of nursing staff in the delivery of high quality evidence-based practice, ensuring that regular supervision and appraisal take place.
You will also coordinate multidisciplinary working, maintaining excellent communication and working relationships with all team members as well as manage operational resources in a cost-effective manner, and evaluating the standard of service delivered.
Person Specification: All applicants must hold a first level registration in Mental Health Nursing (RMN) or Learning Disabilities (RNLD) within the UK and must hold a valid PIN with current experience within a senior position.
