Salary: £19,409 - £22,683 per year (inclusive of unsociable hours allowance)
Description: This is an exciting opportunity for Support Workers with or without a previous background in healthcare to join a brand new service for people with learning disabilities and complex needs. The service opened in January 2017 and provides support for up-to five individuals.
As a Support Worker you will be a key person in enabling the service users to live independent, active lives. All the service users have individual packages of care that are tailored to enable them to access local leisure, volunteering and educational services.
The service itself consists of five self-contained flats that will enable service users to live independently whilst also being able to access an onsite wi-fi café, arts and crafts centre and a communal space that can be used for games.
Full time and part time positions available. Successful applicants will be expected to cover a range of days and nights.
Person Specification: Candidates with either Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
