Person Specification: Proven experience working as a Registered Nurse across multi-disciplinary teams.
Proven experience analyzing staff and ward management problems and coming up with viable solutions.
Competency across a range of nursing skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge, including infection control and health and safety
Proven experience of applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied patient case mixes
Evidence of challenging consultants to influence evidence-based practice
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and using own initiative
IT literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
Flexible approach to work and working patterns
Although not essential, a supervisory / management qualification and proven supervisory experience would be highly advantageous
