Description: This is an exciting opportunity for an RNLD or RMN to join a new service for people with learning disabilities and complex needs. The service is newly built.
As a nurse you will be a key person in enabling the service users to live independent, active lives. All the service users have individual packages of care that are tailored to enable them to access local leisure, volunteering and educational services.
The service itself consists of nine self-contained flats that will enable service users to live independently whilst also being able to access an onsite wi-fi café, arts and crafts centre and a communal space that can be used for games.
Training on the use of positive behavioral management will be provided to all staff as will the opportunity to develop new skills. Ongoing support will be given for Continued Professional Development (CPD) and all staff will be able to link in with the professional nursing networks.
Person Specification: Applicants must hold a first level registration in Mental Health Nursing ( RMN ) or Learning Disabilities ( RNLD ) within the UK as well as a current, valid PIN.
