Description: Our client provide a wide range of specialist in-patient and community CAMH services for children, young people and their families. They provide care and treatment for children and young people with developmental problems, physical and learning disabilities that have a need for particular interventions, focused work and inpatient treatment as well as those children and young people with moderate and severe mental health problems.
Centre one is renowned for the treatment of Eating Disorders in Adolescence situated in Cambridge. The small bedded unit is nationally commissioned through NHS England and provides assessment and treatment of eating disorders for young people aged 12 - 18 years old including those with co - morbid diagnosis. The Centre is one of the very few Specialist Eating Disorder Units in the country.
Centre two is for Young People offering a multi-disciplinary Tier 4 adolescent inpatient unit that provides assessment and treatment to young people (13 -17 up to 18th Birthday) with severe mental health difficulties on both an inpatient and day patient basis. The Centre is QNIC accredited as "Excellent" by the Royal College of Psychiatrists and is therefore one of the Top 5 National tier 4 units.
Person Specification: All candidates wishing to apply for the above roles, must hold a UK current/valid nursing PIN and have the right to work in the UK. Experience within an eating disorder environment isn't essential for the band 5 roles, but anyone wishing to show interest in the band 6 roles will require experience within this specialist setting.
