Exciting opportunities are available for a Theatre Nurse Practitioner (Scrub/Recovery/Endoscopy) to join their experienced and dynamic team.

With a number of Nursing Degree Apprenticeship programmes in partnership with the University of Sunderland, there are a variety of specialist courses offered on-site. You will work closely alongside the on-site Practice Development Educator to develop personal learning objectives.

Working as a Theatre Nurse Practitioner (Scrub/Recovery/Endoscopy) provide exemplary planned care for patients and assist in the management and organisation of care provision in the operating theatre. You will prepare the your department in relation to equipment and supplies required for specific procedures, as well as ensuring the Patient Record is completed in a timely and accurate way.

The roles are Full-Time (37.5 hours per week) which includes weekends (rota), although Part-Time hours will also be considered. Informal discussions are welcomed if you would like some further information.

Person Specification: To succeed as a Theatre Nurse Practitioner (Scrub/Recovery/Endoscopy) you will need:

* You will be a HCPC registered ODP or an NMC registered Nurse
* You will have minimum one year Endoscopy/Scrub or Recovery experience
* Ideally you will have ALS or ILS however training & courses can be offered.
* Excellent communication and organisation is key to continue our high standards of patient care.
