Description: An exciting opportunity has arisen for highly motivated, inspirational Theatre Nurse Manager (RN/ODP) within one of the UK's largest healthcare organisations.

As Head of Department, you will have had significant experience at a senior level within this or a similar area. The Theatre Nurse Manager (RN/ODP) is a high-profile role working closely with the Senior Management Team to provide leadership and management to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, well led, responsive, quality patient care.

The role requires a highly visible, engaging, professional lead that can influence within the care unit and across the Hospital. This person will enhance and challenge traditional models of care and deliver new transformational ways of working, striving to improve patient experience, quality, and outcomes for patients. The post holder will work collaboratively within the hospital to provide an outstanding level of care to our patients and staff.

As a Theatre Nurse Manager (RN/ODP) you will Provide strong clinical leadership to our multi-disciplinary theatre department, assuming overall accountability for clinical effectiveness and operational performance to deliver the highest quality perioperative care.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager to take the next step in their career; you will be actively supported through training and development and will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and alongside award-winning consultants.

This is a Full-Time role (37.5hrs per week).

Monday - Friday with no weekend working!

Person Specification: To succeed as a Theatre Nurse Manager (RN/ODP) you will need:

* Registered clinical practitioner with the appropriate governing body (NMC/HCPC).
* You'll be accountable for leading, motivating, educating and supervising the Theatre team so supervisory or management experience is required within a Theatre department.
* Ideally, your wide-ranging skills will include teaching and assessment, as well as ILS/ALS.
* A professional management qualification would also be an advantage.
* Budget management and demand and capacity profiling.
