Do you have between two to four years' experience of working with children/people with learning difficulties and/or autism, or with other children/people in a residential setting?

As a Home Manager you will be responsible for leading, organising and managing a group of staff working in one of the care teams. You will be required to arrange and manage the care of the children and administration of the team.

Recently rated Outstanding with Ofsted the Residential School is situated on a spacious site in the seaside town of Broadstairs, in East Kent. Some facilities include a library and interactive storytelling zone, swimming pool, parent / carer house, interactive soft play and sensory rooms, interactive bicycle track, pottery, all weather football pitch, sensory garden, and horticultural projects.

Personal Spec: Four years' experience of working with children/people with learning difficulties and/or autism, or with other children/people in a residential setting.

OR

Two years as above, plus the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare

Please note post holders must be willing to commit to obtaining the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare within 2 years of the start of their employment if not already obtained.
