Description:

This leading healthcare group operates hospitals UK wide, providing exceptional healthcare, medical and surgical services to millions of patients each year.

We are looking for Advanced Practice Physiotherapists (APP) to support a growing service. You will be part of a team including MSK Physiotherapists, Advanced Physiotherapist Practitioners (APP/ESP) and MSK Doctors. It is a fantastic environment for knowledge and skill development in Musculoskeletal health.

As an APP Physiotherapist you will be involved in developing new and innovative pathways for treating MSK conditions. The role will require you to monitor the outcomes of these treatments and undertake audits to understand the effects, constantly seeking to empower clinicians to evolve and improve the service. You will be able to undertake highly specialised & comprehensive musculoskeletal assessments, of routine and complex patients.

You will provide clinical expertise, leadership and collaborate with all other clinicians working alongside them, becoming part of an MDT approach to enhance patient care in a musculoskeletal setting. As part of your role you will also need to supervise physiotherapists and MSK Practitioners in their provision of clinical care.

Person Specification: To succeed as an APP/ESP Physiotherapist you will need:

* To be HCPC registered
* Physiotherapy degree
* Experience working at a senior physiotherapist level seeing patients in a musculoskeletal setting (equivalent 8a)
* Evidence of continuing professional development in relevant clinical and management areas
* Clinical leadership
* Experience in ordering diagnostics/investigations & tests
* Experience of clinical supervision / mentoring
* Experience in Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Chronic pain
* Experience in management/supervision
* Experience in audits
