As a result of on-going growth, there is now an opening for an Endoscopy Lead Practitioner (RN/ODP) to join the leading team.
You will provide quality planned care across the endoscopy patient pathway, supporting and assisting in the management and organisation of care provision within the endoscopy unit.

As the Endoscopy Lead Practitioner (RN/ODP) you will be responsible for the quality planned care of patients undergoing endoscopic procedures within own scope of practice. Your role will also involve participating in the improvement in Essential Quality Requirements and Best Practice standards for flexible endoscopy services including decontamination and clinical care.

This is a Full-Time role (37.5hrs per week).

Person Specification : To succeed as an Endoscopy Lead Practitioner (RN/ODP) you will require:

- Experience of leading a clinical team
- Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
- Basic and advanced Competence / qualification in Endoscopy Care and Decontamination.
- Operators Course in Endoscopy Decontamination.
- Teaching / Assessing / mentorship qualifications Knowledge of appropriate standards and external bodies (Care Quality Commission, GRS, JAG, HTM 01 -06).
- ILS.
