Salary: £32,000p/a

Description: Our client who was nominated as the best care provider in the UK has an excellent opportunity for a Service Leader to join their experienced, established and expanding management team in Scottish Borders.

As a Service Leader you will lead and manage a team of Nurses and frontline colleagues providing direct care and support to the 17 people we currently support with learning and/or physical disabilities, Autism, complex mental health concerns high health care and complex needs e.g. diabetes management, stroke management and dementia to live independently in their own homes.

Good knowledge and experience of working with all client groups in an independent living setting and in the local community is essential. As is previous experienceof managing services and teams within a social care setting to deliver person centred support within the Positive Behaviour Support Framework.

You will also be responsible and accountable for the 24-hour management of the services, ensuring that all aspects of support and service delivery is focused on meeting the needs and preferences of the people that they support. This includes being involved in the creation and auditing of care and support, risk assessments and other safe systems of work.

Person Specification: The successful candidate will be required to register with the SSSC if you are not already registered or hold an appropriate registration. You will also be required to have or undertake an SVQ 4 or equivalent qualification to meet the conditions of the registration.

This post is also suitable for an RGN/RMN although this is not an essential requirement.
