Salary: £40,057 - £45,839 per year + relocation allowance

Location: Great Yarmouth

Ref: SB/NR/10867/1

Provide clinically excellent and cohesive pharmaceutical care at this acute Norfolk hospital!

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Pharmacist to join a “Good”-rated acute healthcare provider as a Senior Rotational Pharmacist.

The hospital is a close-knit site in a beautiful area with great schools, a sandy Norfolk coastline, close proximity to the Norfolk Broads, and a low cost of living. A support package of up to £8,000 is available to help with any relocation.

As a Senior Rotational Pharmacist, you will deliver expert care and advice as you undertake ward-based rotations, meaning you will get to know well your patients and the ward’s MDT, enhancing the care you can provide as part of the hospital’s integrated approach to healthcare.

You will have the opportunity to gain experience in several clinical specialties, including Women & Children’s Health, Respiratory Conditions, and Surgical Wards.

There will also be extensive opportunities for professional development, including to earn your Independent Prescribing and PGDip/Cert in Clinical Pharmacy if you have not already done so.

This is a full-time Senior Rotational Pharmacist role. As a ward-based role, you will primarily be based on-site, but there may be some flexibility for hybrid working opportunities.

Person specification:

You must currently be registered with the GPhC as a Pharmacist.

You must have some hospital pharmacy experience – this could include any pre-reg training or previous rotational training within a hospital pharmacy service.

Benefits:

  • Up to £8,000 relocation allowance
  • Ideal location – lower cost of living, great schools and links to higher education, and sandy coastlines
  • Significant CPD opportunities, including PG Cert and IP courses
  • Some flexibility for hybrid working opportunities
  • Generous organisational pension
  • Leave enhancements for length of service and parental leave
  • Childcare support
  • Occupational health scheme and Employee Wellbeing Programme
  • Extensive range of retail, leisure, and health club/gym membership details
  • And more!
